One of my favorite things about 2010 is that almost every couple will have a FunBooth Live Photobooth this year!! I am super excited about this! Funbooths are such a great way to capture your guests...young and old...doing some crazy and fun stuff! If you are on the fence about having one of these at your wedding...or other event...you gotta do it! They are so much fun! To view all the Funbooth Images: http://www.pictage.com/810214

My first wedding of the 2010 Wedding Season couldn't have been better. The guests were fun, the bridal party was a blast and the bride & groom....very in love and excited to get married.....all at one of my favorite snohomish wedding venues: Lord Hill Farm. The BEST! I remember getting ready on my wedding day ( 7+ years ago....wow!)....it was as if I was getting ready for the rest of my life. It seems so momentous, and it is! I loved meeting my soon to be husband...in my huge wedding gown, looking the best I would ever look.....and having it all happen with my closest friends and family was just so wonderful. On to Dave & Beth.....here are some more from their momentous day! Wedding Venue: Lord Hill Farms, Snohomish, Washington Photographer: Kaylee Eylander Photography Dress: David's Bridal Flowers: Fancy Plants
I'm one of those people that didn't grow up around kids. I never really babysat much, I was the youngest in my family, and I didn't have any cousins that were younger.....But there is something about well behaved kids that is so refreshing. I love to see their little personalities shine through. These kid are sweet, kind and well behaved...my favorite kind!:) I love that one of them is quiet and analytical, one is opinionated and knows what she wants, and one is a peace maker. Its fun to watch, even in my own kids, that the personalities they have as babies and toddlers, seem to be their same personality as they grow up. It just amazes me.
Last Friday we got to spend the day at the ever lovely Lord Hill Farms. What a wonderful place for a wedding! I loved the white washed barns, the rustic beams and all the little twinkle lights in the reception area. One of my favorite parts about Lord Hill Farms is the variety in photo opp sites! So many places to choose from. The view, the barns, the pond, the dock and the fields....and then the stairs, the large windows and the doorways! If I had all day, I might be able to capture all of them! And...on to Dave and Beth. What a quality, fun couple they are. They have so much in common: Both are High School Teachers in Snohomish County, Both are of Norwegian decent (Dave = 100%, Beth= 25%), both love people (this was evident as they spent their time speaking to and hugging almost every person

Seattle Wedding Photographer | Engagment Session at the University of Washington | Sharon & Joe
March 25, 2010My first trip to see the Cherry Blossoms in full bloom at the University of Washington was totally surreal. It was 4 years ago when I was pregnant with my son, and when I came out of the dark parking garage, up to the Quad, the image blew me away so much that I actually teared up. The picture of the huge Cherry trees in full light pink bloom, the green grass, all surrounded by these beautiful huge buildings just took my breath away and that moment will be burned into my brain forever. It was so soft, lovely and totally "spring"...If you have never been to the University of Washington during the Cherry Blossoms....put it on your bucket list. Bring a blanket and a book...and a camera. Anyway....on to Joe and Sharon! What a fun, genuine couple. It was so fun to spend the afternoon photographing them...climbing trees, jumping off
About a year an a half ago, I got an email from a local diva who was looking for a photographer. She was starting her own boutique, Diva-911, in Lake Stevens and was looking for a photographer to collaborate on some projects. I went to an event that she was having at her new store and we immediately clicked. I couldn't believe there was such a fun store so close to my house in Lake Stevens...with so many things that I just loved: big bright purses, really cute hats to wear to the bus stop in the morning before school while dropping off my daughter, and of course amazing jeans! What I really loved was Jackie's great positive attitude. I just love being around positive people, so hanging out with her is always fun. I signed on and did a few events with her, during my non wedding season. Now
Seattle Wedding Photographer | Engagement Session at Pike Place & The Pier with Kara & Vance
March 15, 2010One of my favorite things about having this blog, is that for some reason, brides that I just LOVE are finding me! And there is nothing I love more that meeting with a bride and finding out they love the things I love! Enter Kara! :) She loves Vintage, Artsy and Unique images, so do I. She loves color ( hence the bright yellow and blue in these engagement session images), so do I (have you seen pictures of my turqoise dining room?)! She loves Gasworks Park.....you guessed it, so do I!:) I seriously can't wait for their wedding day at Blue Ribbon Cooking School on Lake Union! It will be fabulous! We had such a blast trekking around Pike Place, Post Alley and Pier 57 next to the Seattle Aquarium yesterday. Yay for El Nino and some super weather! These are the days that I love shooting in Seattle! Contact Kaylee
Snohomish Newborn Photographer: Baby Fix with Baby Ryane!
March 13, 2010So my husband has been talking about his friends Tom and Brenda for quite a while. "Tom and Brenda are selling us some Seahawks tickets", "Tom and Brenda are getting married", "Tom and Brenda are pregnant".....Apparently we met at my wedding...but it was such a blur. I do remember that they gave us a great gift for our wedding. After opening girly gifts for half a day, imagine my husband's delight when he pulled out a maglite! They also got us a equal girly gift, a cookbook. :) Tip: if you want your wedding gift to be memerable....get the guy something manly! Anyway....back to the task at hand.....Tom and Brenda did have a beautiful baby girl, Ryane...and I got to meet them all a few weeks ago. I (and most importantly, my husband) got our baby fixes and we oohed and aahed as she made faces and did all her cute
