Pastor Brandon Beals said it best: Colette & Bryan"s relationship is a perfect example of a 21st Century relationship. They met on eHarmony.com, fasttracked each other, then emailed, then instant messaged, then changed their facebook status. I love it! This was basically a destination wedding for the groom, considering that he came all the way from Colorado to marry his girl. Their ceremony was so meaningful and emotional...it was right up my alley! Luckily the sun made an appearance and there was no rain in sight at this amazing estate in Snohomish. Summer Solstice. June 21, 2007- Cat and Todd go on their first date and have their first kiss. Summer Solstice. June 21,2009- Todd proposes to Cat. She says yes. Summer Solstice. June 21, 2010- Todd & Cat get married. When wedding planner Brittany from BBJean Events told me she had a wedding on a Monday, I was curious, intrigued and didn't care what I had to do, I wanted to be a part of it. Then when she told me the theme was Octopus & Ocean with some Vintage touches...I was super excited! Cat & Todd had some amazing ideas for their Engagement Session in Bellingham and after I saw how relaxed they were in front of the camera, i knew that their wedding day would be one of the highlights of the summer. And it was! On their friends amazing property in Conway, Washington, it was such a beautiful day! Brittany from BBJean
Ask and you shall receive. A little over a month ago, after stumbling onto a cool colored birdcage veil on Etsy.com, I put out a plea to the facebook peeps to please help me! I needed a birdcage veil bride...stat!! Luckily, one of my favorite people volunteered! Today we headed to the Seattle Public Library to celebrate some vintage style love. And after 14 years of marriage, they still have the spark. I sure love to see that! I Love, Love, Love the modern architecture of this building, designed by Rem Koolhaas. Pretty inspiring, pretty cool. Can't wait for the wedding I have there in August!!!:) So much fun! I just love Love Stories.I happened to watch an amazing and true love story called Bright Star, about the poet John Keats and his muse and true love. This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The cinematography was incredible, and the story line wonderful. You should grab some kleenex and watch it! So here's a tiny version of Lauren & Andrew's love story. They met in 7th grade block class. That year he asked her to marry him (and of course she said yes!)....and then they parted later. Fast forward to College and a mysterious letter comes to the childhood home of Lauren...who's parents happened to still be living there. Mom gave the letter to Lauren....and sure enough...it was a letter from Andrew. They met up and started hanging out...and she realized she still really loved to hang out with him. :) And they

June 19, 2010Oh how I loved this casual, fun wedding party. These guys were so relaxed...and I don't think one person asked me if they needed to put their hands in the pocket. The wall at the Seattle Asian Art Museum made a great place to start with the Wedding Party images, but as the cloudy grey skies turned to lots of rain, we headed under an unbelievably large tree and it offered lots of rain protection! Yes! If you are looking for a great place for prewedding images, look no further....Volunteer Park is amazing! FAQ | Contact kaylee @ info@eylanderphotography.com | more of Grace & Tom

June 17, 2010One of the things that I LOVE LOVE LOVE to do is travel. My parents were always talking about, planning and saving up for travel when I was a child. They took the family to Hawaii when I was in 2nd grade, Florida when I was in 4th grade, and to California tons of times. They instilled in me a desire to see new places and experience new things...and I love them for it! As I got married and have started my own family, this is a gift that I would love to give my own kids too. My husband and I have been to Mexico a few times, Maui 3 times and are always talking, planning and saving up for the next trip that we will take. There is something about coming to a new place, seeking out new restaurants, beaches and little great places...then by the end of
I love happy endings. I love the idea that there is hope in the world. What can I say, I'm a glass half full kind of girl...and I really enjoy living life this way. I want to live in a world where nice guys finish first, and Rochelle & Dave's story is just that...full of hope, nice guys finishing first and happy endings. I loved the way these two looked at each other with love in their eyes....so genuine!! It reminds me to look at my husband that way too! As I'm getting ready to go spend some time with my family in Eastern Washington, I just couldn't wait to post these images from our session at Mukilteo Beach. I really can't wait for their big day next month!
When I got married, I had 16 people in my wedding party. I didn't really think about it, whether it was alot or too many. I just included the people that I felt like including at the time. Choosing a wedding party is a difficult thing. Sometimes it feel like one of the hardest decisions of a wedding. If you include one person from a time in your life, you feel like you need to include everyone, or no one. Its so hard! Anyway...its something that has to be thought about! Jill and Nate had a great (in personality and in size!) wedding party! You could tell through out the day that their main focus was to help Nate and Jill get married....and that's the way it should be. We had fun trying to find some interesting places to shoot a wedding party this size considering the face that it was
Sometimes I can just tell by meeting a couple...what their wedding might be like, what their wedding party will be like and how fun the wedding will be. When I met Jill and Nate, I knew that their wedding would be fantastic, their ceremony meaningful and their wedding party fun and crazy. Yep. :) I was right. Molly did an amazing job bringing out the crazy in these fun peeps. Jill's dad( Correction! Mom!) brought this amazing antique frame all the way home from Italy, and it was the perfect thing to personalize this photobooth. If you are thinking of having a photobooth at your wedding or reception, using fun fabric (like this fun yellow polka dot fabric), adding personal touches like frames and props, and getting your wedding party excited about it will make a photobooth special and personal to you! So a few weeks ago I put out a plea for some bird cage veil brides. I had found a few on etsy and just loved them so much I wanted to start shooting more of them....and made an offer for brides with birdcage veils to find me! Little did I know that the next 2 weddings that I had were to be brides with birdcage veils...and an amazing vintage style hat, made by none other than the Henrietta of Henrietta's Hats on E. Madison. This had was a beautiful sight to see! It perfectly matched Grace's dusty rose bow on her wonderful vintage wedding gown and it brought the whole ensemble together for one glorious vintage look. I have a soft place in my heart for vintage style hats with birdcage veils. Why, you ask? My dad is not the most opinionated person, but one thing he did have an
