I absolutely died when I saw Amanda's amazing wedding gown. The beading and the layers and layers of tulle just made my knees weak! I loved the detailing on the bodice! Such a Cinderella dress...for a cinderella kind of bride! Her veil was a Pouf or Double Bubble...that just rocked my world too! I loved this combo! So ever since I have known Brittany from BBJean Events...I knew she was pretty amazing...crafty and talented. But....wow! These soft peachy, apricot and sunflower mix just about knocked me over when I saw it! I loved the combination so much...but I was just wondering to myself...how does she do it all??? Some how she found the time ( i believe she worked till the wee hrs of the morning!) . Amanda Loves Sunflowers...and Andrew bought her some to decorate her hotel room for the night before their wedding.....so sweet! I loved the story about the earings

Everett Train Station Wedding | Grey Tuxes & Green Flowers! | Seattle Wedding Photographers
September 24, 2010Just a few more from one of my absolute favorite weddings this summer...my friends, Sky & Maren! I have to say that it was super fun to have my daughter in this wedding. She was very excited to get to be a part of it! I absolutely loved this dramatic stair case at the Everett Station! The windows and clock just make it incredible! One of my favorite things about this wedding was the fact that Maren & Sky chose not to kiss for 39 days before the wedding. It was pretty fun teasing them....hey...Its still my job to take great pictures...:) The Grey Tuxedos plus the modern funky green Spider Flowers made my day...Gotta say...i love a grey tux on a wedding day. Seattle World Trade Center Wedding | Red Roses and Sunshine! | Seattle Wedding Photographers
September 23, 2010Downtown Seattle, a beautiful day in late August....what a fabulous sunny day for a wedding! Sharon and Joe got married twice! First was the Sikh Ceremony on Friday, then a whole additional western ceremony at the amazing Seattle World Trade Center! I loved this venue! It was close to the Olympic Sculpture Park and the Seattle Aquarium...both fabulous places for wedding pictures! I loved that there was a huge Cruise ship right across the street from the Marriott Seattle, where Sharon got ready. I just died over Sharon's beautiful wedding dress! I loved all the crystals & beads! I loved the deep red of this amazing bouquet! The Olympic Sculpture Park was a great place to take wedding a party pictures! The red of the bridesmaids dresses really pops against that colorful backdrop. I love it with the blue sky too! The unique circular ceiling at the World Trade Center was amazing...along with the

This couple was so much fun to hang out with at Willows Lodge in Woodinville. I loved everything about this place! If you've never been here, its right next to Chateau St. Michelle and Redhook Brewery. I loved that they had an Herb Garden for The Herb Farm Restaurant (and amazing 9 course meal made with local in season paired with yummy wines.... on my bucket list, btw!!). I always ask how couples meet....it brings out the sparkle in their eyes...they start giggling as they tell me the story. These guys told me the story about how he "bumped into her" after class....and the rest was history. :) Talk about 2 love birds! I loved this burnt out tree! It was HUGE!!! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a couple look at each other with that lovely look in their eye! Venue: Willows Lodge, Woodinville, Washington

Seattle Public Library Wedding | Scrabble & Waist Coats | Kaylee Eylander
September 18, 2010I love accents. I could listen to them all day long. So when we arrived at Hotel Monaco in Seattle, Richard was talking about "waistcoats" in his english accent and one of his groom's men was an Aussie...we got our dose of a good accent. I also just loved this hotel so much! From the huge amazing front doors, to the cool stripes on the wall, to the quirky little goldfish in each room, Hotel Monaco is the place to be! Loved every inch of it!I loved that Katy got all of her flowers from the vendors at Pike Place Market. What beautiful flowers!! I loved these little gold fishes...named Katy & Richard! I love the quirky and out of the box details at Kimpton hotels. When the gals were getting ready, one of the bridesmaids mentioned that Katy had used a classic game of Scrabble as an early test of Richard's
Hotel 1000 & Pike Place Engagement | Yanni & John | Hitched: Take 1
September 17, 2010So Yanni & John are getting married. Well...they just got married. But they are still getting married. Confused? Well...They are planning a fabulous wedding for next fall with the Lovely and Talented Bobbi Roth of Bobbi Roth Wedding Design, and they got the crazy and fun idea to just get hitched now and have a gorgeous wedding next year, complete with orange aisle runner at the Woodmark hotel in Kirkland. We had so much fun at Hotel 1000 in Seattle doing a small ceremony and doing an engagement session around Pike Place and Post Alley (had to hit the gum wall and poster wall). John had Yanni giggling the whole time! I loved it! I just can't wait for the fabulous and bright wedding next fall! Yanni's amazing make-up was done by the Shanon of Iloveblush.com

Seattle Engagement Session | University of Washington
September 9, 2010Their Story: They work together for a while. He makes a move on the DL and asks her on a date. They go to the track. Then to a Mariners Game.....trying still to keep in on the DL. They are having a great time at the game and soon get a video text from one of their friends. They were on the jumbo tron. On TV. Everyone at work saw it. :( They downplayed it....but the peeps were suspicious. Probably because...look at them! They are so happy together!!! They are infectiously giggly and so in love! I can't wait for their wedding in January. I love shooting at the University of Washington! It has so many cool places to shoot!
