So its been about a 3 weeks since I decided to finally join the gym....and I absolutely love it. I started out this year on the beach in Kauai after shooting a wedding there and in the sun and on the sand, I decided that this year was going to be a new year for me. My 33rd birthday was coming up and I'm no spring chicken any more. :) I knew I wanted to get all around healthier in 2011 and when I got home, I started reading The Raw Food Detox Diet and Crazy Sexy Diet, I all ready had a juicer, so this was easy to jump on board. February 14, 2011***Warning***....If you are newly married or in a new relationship...this WON"T apply to you...as you have not entered this stage in your relationship yet. Once you start wearing sweats around the house most of the time...come back and read this post! Girls....particularly my married friends out there.....I'm just going to lay it out there. If you have been married for more than a year, we ladies tend to relax in the primping area. Especially if we are just staying home. Don't get me wrong....when I get home from...well, just about anything, I, too, immediately change out of my restricting high heel boots and constricting jeans, into my "comfy pants" just like you...but when we are spending more time in our comfy clothes than not, its time for a What Not To Wear like intervention! Chic Tweak: Coming to a Wedding, Party or Event Near You!
February 11, 2011I had such a great time today hanging with the ladies of Chic Tweak! We headed to fun Downtown Snohomish for a fun shoot. Heidi and Terri have worked together for a while and decided that they needed to put their styling talent to work! They do styling parties (sounds fun to me!) Make-up and tons more! I loved every little single thing they came up with, so I'm sure you will see more of them on the blog! Allie did a great job as our model...even in the freezing cold! She was super tough!

That is one reason why I love working with Brittany from BBJean Events so much! This girl is a visionary when it comes to all things wedding and design. We chatted a while ago about doing a fun, vintage shoot with some quirky touches and that was about all the detail I could come up with....soon...(while I was having my fun birthday weekend) I started getting these amazing emails full of Brittany's ideas....I got one at the Purple Cafe in Seattle, one walking around Pacific Place and a whole bunch more. February 8, 2011I had such a great time at this fabulous wedding in the Greenlake area a few weeks ago. Their wedding was classic, elegant and personal. I loved that the pastor who married them reminded everyone of the story about how they tried to keep their relationship on the DL and ended up on the jumbo tron at a Seattle Mariner's game...with some of their co-workers watching at work! So funny! Well...it was meant to be and it all worked out in the end. Their flowers were amazing, their ceremony perfect and their chemistry evident. Lets just say it was a fun day!
