I love that Erin and Tony met in a small group at church....it was a running group...and guess what it was called....."We've got the runs!" I love it. Inappropriate and funny. :) When she first met him...she thought he was a little cocky ...and look where they are now, getting married in a few months. So I guess its good to be cocky...well confident is a good word for it! I thought my husband was the same way when I first met him! Hey...whatever works. As we hung out it Kirkland...it was fun to hear their story about how they took some time off of their relationship for a while to focus on God...and when they came back together...Tony had a whole big scavenger hunt ready for Erin all over Kirkland. What a fun way to get back together! I seriously can't wait for their wedding at Swan's Trail Farm! http://vimeo.com/22963555

We had so much fun at Luke and Sarah's Wedding at Christian Faith Center in Mill Creek, where Luke and Sarah met. They are such a sweet, genuine and in love couple...it was a pleasure to get to capture their fun day! What a fun wedding party too! I was in love with this amazing platinum beaded backdrop they had for their day...it was so perfect! Tatoos were the order of the day.:) I loved how these shoes perfectly showcased her colorful tatoo! These guys were ready for their infamous jumping pictures....they rocked it. I HEART Ring shots! So if I ask to steal your rings at your reception....this is why! SO much fun! Basic to Bombshell Giveaway!!! | Enter To Win!
April 19, 2011Soooooo! We had our very first Basic to Bombshell Party! Let me just say....We all had so much fun! Thank you to all the Bombshells that came! We had Terri and Heidi from Chic Tweak doing make-up and styling! What an amazing job they do! True artists! I had a blast photographing all of the ladies...because they felt so confident after they had their make-up and hair done! If you have never gotten your make-up Professionally done before, its a total confidence builder! The amazing thing was, they talked us through it...and i learned something things I can do everyday for a little oomph factor! At around 10pm, I was looking for my sleeping bag...because it really felt like I was 15 again and we were having a sleep over! Just an amazingly fun Girls Night In! :) Some of the comments I heard from the girls: "I haven't felt that

I had the fun opportunity to hang out with another great Snohomish Family the other day....Another set of brothers! Is a sign? Hmmmm! Let me take this chance to brag on Tracy for a minute....she's awesome. She is one of my kiddos preschool teachers! Both of my kids have gone through her preschool, Sunshine Preschool at the Nazarene Church in Marysville. I had heard about this preschool through a friend...and I am so glad I did. I've spent a day with my ONE 4 year old....I don't know how she does it with the 25 or so in the class! Tracy and the other fabulous teacher, Kim, have lovingly and creatively taught my kids how to write their names, sing the cutest songs, stand in line and play with others. Now...my daughter was a breeze. I knew she would do fine in preschool....she's the first born and a rule follower. My
Gasworks Engagement Session | Monika & Nolan | Love Story
April 13, 2011http://vimeo.com/22327500 Monika and Nolan are such a great match. 2 people, fun, generous and caring....Monika is one of those people that when you see her smile, its like seeing sunshine, and Nolan is sincere, friendly and loves working with kids. They will be fabulous parents someday. They will be the cool parents on the block and all the kids will want to hang out at their house. For our fun engagement session, we decided (and rescheduled about 5 times due to snow, sleet and rain!), we headed to the amazing Gasworks Park in Seattle on Lake Union. I love this place. Green grass, water and rolling hills....plus a couple of super huge rusty pipes. If you've never been there...take a saturday and go! Its fabulous! I wanted their engagement session to be personal...and they brought along some of their favorite things. I loved that while Nolan played his Takamine, Monika was right along
So...I guess I've always done things on the unconventional side. I owned a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle, even when the heater didn't work, and you could see the road through the floor boards. I leave Christmas lights up all year long because I love the glow of them. I painted my whole dining room bright turquoise. And....At the beginning of my family session with Gavin & Dawson...I actually told them it was ok to rough house. :) I have my reasons.....And I think my plan worked perfectly! My husband and I have long been going back and forth on whether we should have another baby ( trying for a boy) because he says he always wished he had a brother. I love the love you can see between these two boys. They love to punch and kick each other, but they also just love to be around each other. There really is something special
Modern Fun Senior Portraits | Snohomish Senior Photographer
April 10, 2011Introducing one of my first 2012 Senior Models! I had so much fun with Miss Mackenzie yesterday. This girl has it all. Creative, Fun, Gorgeous and the world is at her fingertips. She has fabulous style sense and I think I need to go back and get some fashion lessons from her. Her bright orange and the walls are covered in inspiration and the surfaces are covered in clothes.....reminds me ALOT of my room about 15 years ago. :) What can I say...creative peeps have a hard time with organization! :) She has been sewing since she was 13 and has some mad skills. One of the great things about doing Senior Sessions on location is that we are able to bring in some personal elements into the shoot. This amazing vintage orange chair is Mackenzie's favorite, so we took it outside and used it! I loved it so much! I
I've had so much fun getting to know Jenny Keller of Jenny Cookies lately! We have a blast coming up with some pretty fun ideas...texting back and forth like crazy and we have some pretty fun plans in store for the future. If you have ever thought about having a spectacular and different dessert table, cupcakes or custom cookies for favors at your wedding, Jenny is your gal! She has a billion creative ideas, and the presentation that is going to knock the socks off your guests....and the taste buds too. Yummo!! I've had the privilege of partaking more than a few of her delectable creations and not only are they so visually beautiful, they are delish too!! A few days ago, we did a spontaneous Easter Dessert Table Shoot...(read...Jenny had this amazing Ruffle Cake on her mind, woke up, started baking and didn't stop till nightfall! Then she called me...and
Sandra & Bill met on the dance floor, in so many words.....they both love to dance and so I was very excited to see them dance at their reception! They had a beautiful Jewish ceremony, complete with a lovely Chuppah. The Chuppah symbolizes the home that the couple will build together. I love that a tradition that has been done for thousands of years is still very meaningful and relevant today. They ended their ceremony with a reading of the Seven Blessings and then the groom stomped on the glass and everyone yelled, "Mazel Tov!". So fun! I loved Sandra's modern, but still vintage wedding dress. I have never seen anything like it! When I saw it on the hanger...I couldn't wait to see it moving around the dance floor....scroll down to see just how amazing it was! It was the perfect dancing dress!
