Camp Grande....a gorgeous place! I don't know who I need to call to become a member...but this place is so cool! Its a little hidden gem out there on Camano Island....and Courtney just happens to be a member. I am so happy she shared it with me! Right on Puget sound...it has a lovely little pier and tons of beach. We were so lucky to get some sunshine in October! Can you imagine how excited I was when they pulled up in this amazing black Chevelle? I think I screamed! I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding next summer! Its going to be fabulous!

Seattle Royal Argosy Cruise | Nautical Vintage Wedding on a Boat!
October 18, 2011I gotta tell you that when I sat down with Jen & Dave, I just knew I was going to love their wedding. And boy....was I right! It was such a blast! I loved being on the Argosy Cruise on a warm September evening...out on the deck, taking in the amazing Seattle skyline from the beautiful Puget Sound. What an amazing night! We started out at the Red Lion in Seattle and then headed down to the Seattle waterfront for some wedding party & Bride & Groom portraits...from there we hopped on the boat and got ready for the ceremony! I absolutely loved this bridal bouquet with white hydrangeas, yellow calla lillies and navy ribbon! So fabulous and fit with the nautical theme perfectly with out being over the top. I loved this simple white rose bud cake from Jenny Cookies for the cake cutting! All of the desserts were on the tables, so

Pike Place Market Engagement Session | Urban Seattle
October 12, 2011I had so much fun tromping around Pike Place Market in Seattle, shooting Dena & Cameron's engagement Session. When they showed up by the flying fish wearing my favorite color...I knew it was going to be a good day! These guys live in Belltown and have a great love for this city! Its fun to look at Seattle with such love! I cannot wait for their wedding at St. James Cathedral! So much fun!
Have you ever seen one of those couples that just glow...they just inspire you to love more passionately?? Well...these two are those kind of people. The first time I met Corrie...she told me of her italian man and she just oozed love, excitement and giddiness about him! When I can see love in someone's eyes when they talk about their honey, it just makes me so happy. She told me that he was trying to get his fiance visa and they weren't going to know for sure if the wedding was going to happen for a while....and they didn't care what they had to do..they just wanted to be married. :) I loved that! So...when it came time for their wedding day, I knew I would be inspired. Let me just say that these two are so stinkin cute. He was kissing her constantly....and she was giggly and glowing. It was
Argosy Cruise Nautical Wedding | Sneek Peak!
October 7, 2011Oh my goodness. One of the most fun weddings ever...dancing on a boat all night! Before the party started, we headed down to the pier and shot a few! Here's just a few! Lots more to come!!
Thank you e-harmony. Thank you for bringing these two well rounded, happy and thoughtful people together. Look at these images...they couldn't be a ounce happier...and I thank you e-harmony for matching them up! How they met: She said that is was her last date with e-harmony...and she was so happy when he 1.) actually looked like his photograph and 2.) didn't act desperate! :) He played it cool and got the girl in the end! **Note to all you e-harmony critics....these two are seriously compatible and if you give it some time...it might just work for you too! ** Danielle's lashes are just out of this world! Could she look any happier??? :)
Beach Engagement Session | Kayak Point with a sweet chocolate lab…and 2 peeps in love
October 6, 2011In my 8 years of shooting weddings and engagement sessions...every singe time...I always ask how the bride and groom met. I always want to hear that story...and watch what happens when people light up as they tell me the juicy details. There is always two sides to a story and I loved it when I asked how Nicole and Austin met....they both had their version! How they met: Apparently, they went to high school together and didn't even know each other. He said she was the popular girl in ASB planning the assemblies....that he didn't even remember attending. She friended him on Facebook after highschool...the threw out a invite to drinks on Thanksgiving...and she took him up on it...and they have been inseparable ever since. Their Relationship: I love to see when couples get each other...and don't try to change them into something else. I love that she knows he's a fisherman/hunter type and
Travis & Lauren....are never going to be bored. He is a hoot...and keeps her laughing constantly! I loved that Lauren had her "sexy shoes" and the navy vans that she actually wore during the wedding! SO fun!!! The Favors for this wedding was delicious (hand made by the Mother of the Bride) strawberry preserves! So cute...and tasty too! I don't know why...but burlap just makes me happy! Its the texture...or the simplicity of it...but i loved these tables with burlap runners, dahlias in mason jars and succulents in little votives! So lovely! I also am a big fan of pictures...if you can't tell...and all the photos of these guys growing up just made the venue feel homey and comfortable! I get alittle teary when I look at the image below...there is something so special about the bond between a close mother and daughter...You can just see it in their eyes. :) I fast forward to my
I don't know if you remember the infamous Rowboat Engagement Session ....but after that fun and adventurous shoot, I knew these guys would have a wedding that was the same...fun, adventurous and full of life. Talk about a group of people who like to dance the night away! These guys know how to par-tay! We started out at the Alderwood Community Church and then headed to The W Seattle with a little pit stop at Pike Place along the way. It was a gorgeous day and we absolutely loved photographing their super fun wedding! The whole auditorium will filled with the gorgeous fragrance of these amazing flowers by Laurel's Floral Decor! They were incredible! I was in LOVE with these silver Jimmy Choo bridal shoes. They were gorgeous and went perfect with Chloe's Dress! We had so much fun taking this huge wedding party through Pike Place Market on Labor day weekend! We took
