Last friday we ( my super duper funny husband) headed over the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry…took a few minutes to take in a Crepe at of my favorite Creperies and then headed up to Port Gamble. We caught an earlier ferry, so we had a few extra minutes and took a stroll in down town Port Gamble and went to the Port Gamble General Store. What a stinking cute store!!! If you haven’t spent an afternoon in Port Gamble…and you enjoy a cozy, quiet, historic town by the sea, you need to hit this spot up for a family day or date.
Ok…so back to Danielle and Jason’s super fun wedding! :) So much love between these two and their families! I love to see families that really, really love each other. You can just tell when there is a special relationship….and these guys sure had families that really loved them! I got to use my 2 year college spanish with Jason’s hilarious family from Southern California…I think I did pretty well…(read…I made them laugh pretty hard! )
I loved, LOVED shooting at the Port Gamble St. Paul’s Church and can’t wait to shoot another wedding there. Port Gamble was founded in 1853 and looks as if it was frozen in time. The little grey church is so picturesque and is the perfect venue for a spring wedding! I loved everything about it!
Here is just a tiny little taste of the bride and groom after they had their first look! Lots more wedding pictures to come!
There was a whole lot of laughter going on at this wedding! And a few tears too…I know I lost it when the father daughter dance came around! :)
I just loved that the back of this dress allowed just a peekabo of Dani’s tattoo to show! It was perfect.
If you are having a DIY wedding with lots of fun details, I want to shoot it! I love to capture all of the little details that you’ve poured over Pinterest to find! Email me via my contact page…I can’t wait to hear from you!
