Ah…you know its a great engagement session when it involves s’mores, a cute little tent, a vintage boat and you get in the car and the clock reads 9:45pm! Oops! I was just having so much fun, I didn’t realize  how long I had actually been there! :)

The more I shoot weddings, the more I see that the world is so small. I love that these two have so many mutual friends in common, but never really knew each other until last October. They started hanging out after a message from Rob to Erika on Facebook…and well…the rest is history. The crazy part is…its almost like a modern day Romeo and Juliet story. Rob’s  from the marysville family that owns the amazingly yummy Ooserwyks Dutch Bakery (were my husband religiously takes our kids for Daddy/Kid Donut Day!) , and Erika’s Grandpa owned a Norwegain  Bakery in Stanwood….and some how they found each other! :)

I loved that they wanted to do a camping/ boat/ s’mores engagement…it just made my heart happy. I know it took a ton of work…and I appreciate every bit of it!

Rob had a way of making Erika the whole time….it was perfect!

I am so in love with her Engagement Ring! She said she showed him one she liked on Etsy…and sure enough, he got one really similar to it! 

Um. this boat rocked my world. Cute, vintage, and gorgeous…it was fabulous!

Uh…if you never had a smore with a Reese’s instead of a Hersheys….get ready to have your mind blown! It was my first and I don’t know if I can ever go back!

Erika is a super talented Musician, song writer and singer…and I loved that her outfit matched her guitar!
