So these two girls are some of the loveliest in the Tri Cities! They have such a fun friendship…I was so excited to do a BFF Senior Session with them! We headed to Howard Amon Park for our session and we had a blast!!
I met Brittany about a year and a half ago when we moved to the tri cities (to help out with our amazing Tri Cities church, Life Church 7)…a little shameless plug, since I do the website! :) Brittany was super welcoming and befriended us and our kids equally. She’s fun, lovely to be around and one of the kindest people I know. Then add, her dynamic duo BFF, Daicee…crazy lip-syncer, not afraid of anything and loves people! These two are set up to have an incredible friendship for the rest of their lives. I love that!
This shot was one of my faves!! It really captures how fun these two girls are!
I was just dying over these dresses! So gorgeous!!
Brittany has been such a sweet friend to my little Estelle…we are so thankful for her investing in our daughters life and heart! Estelle was super excited to be my assistant on this shoot…anything for Brittany!!

Tri Cities Children’s Photographer | 1 year old Miss E
October 18, 2013I had such a sweet time with Little Miss E! Since we moved to the Tri Cities in April, I’ve been secretly having my eye on this little one…waiting for the special day I would get to photograph her. Her parents go to our incredible church, Life Church Tri Cities, and I think I met her parents the first week we were there….and Little Miss E too!
Aren’t her big blue eyes just to die for?? I thought this one was going to take some more warming up…and I’ve been working on my baby friendly smile tactics…but I really didn’t even need to, because she was ready to be a star (and I had her 2 amazing parents, and her fun brothers that were there to do all the hard work!).
I love one year olds because they are a little independent and still are relatively dependent…and they love attention! I had so much fun with all the pink and pearls in this session! I headed to their house for the session and I was excited to see a full table of fun clothes and accessories to choose from!
I always love snagging a few images of sweet little teeth that are just coming (or falling out, for that matter). It marks such a specific and short time in our kids lives, I love to make sure we get that on film…and I count it as a little challenge for myself! I’m so glad I got a few of these!
The other thing I love to shoot when doing a kids portrait session is hands….hands change so much over time and I just can’t get enough of little chubby fingers and wrists! So Sweet!
If you are looking for a children’s photographer in the Tri Cities area…who is going to capture your child the way they are…I would love to chat with you! Email me at kaylee@eylanderphotography.com or visit my contact page for more information. Portrait Sessions start at $150.

Kennewick High School | Tri Cities Senior Photographer
June 19, 2013As some of you know, my husband and I recently moved to the Tri Cities…West Richland to be exact. We came because we felt called and all we knew was that we were supposed to move and offer our time and talents to my husbands uncle’s church, LifeChurch Tri Cities. Little did we know what we would be meeting some of coolest people, students and adults alike.
One of the fabulous families that we have met is the Waggoner Fam. I say fam…cuz…they are fam kind of people. Relaxed, giving and fun to be around.
I can’t tell you just how much fun I had shooting these two sweet twins senior sessions. We had a super secret location (uh….I want to tell you so bad!!) and it was so much more than I could have dreamed for! Old buildings, dilapidated greenhouses, old ford trucks and hay bales. Not to mention about 5 jack rabbits that were way too fast for me to capture.
These two peeps go to Kennewick High School and just rocked this session!

Hanford High School | Editorial Senior Portraits
June 4, 2013I loved styled shoots. I love to shoot sessions that are on the extra creative end of the spectrum. Sometimes I like to push my clients on the creative side…but with Danny…what you see is what you get. The guy wore 3 piece suits to school…or at suit jacket and slacks. Its just what he does. My husband and I are both big time thrift store shoppers (FIY>>> I did it before it was cool…I started when I was a freshman in high school…a long time ago! )…so we really connected with Danny’s vibe when we met him at church in his 3 piece suit. He’s got a lot of things going for him…a talented actor, entertainer and philosopher. My kids watch him tell a story like I watched Ace Ventura. He totally reminds me of a taller, younger Jim Carrey. He’s pretty darn funny…I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw him on the big screen someday.
So when it was time to do Senior Portraits, we just used what he actually wears and his lovely car, Truman and it turns out like an editorial shoot. Love that.
Dan, we are so excited to see where you are headed next! The world is your oyster. Go gettem.
