Fir Conway Lutheran Church | DIY Peach & Burlap Wedding | Mt Vernon Wedding Photographer
September 20, 2012It is always extra special when we get to photograph people that we know have known for a while. Its like not even going to work. Its just plain fun! I’ve known both of these crazy cats since I was a teenager, I think? So fun for them to have found love with each other.
When Erika and Rob were looking for a wedding venue, Erika wanted to get married in a little white church, and she found the perfect one in Conway at the Fir-Conway Lutheran Church. It was so darling…and it just felt great to shoot a wedding in a church again! I can’t remember the last time we did that!
This wedding was full of so many cute rustic DIY details…Here’s just a few of my favorites:
1. Baby’s Breath in lace covered mason jars hanging from the pews.
2. The cutest Wedding mad Libs ever!
3. Burlap covered bulletin board…featuring a great verse…and some amazing engagement photos.
4. Cute little peaches waiting for guests as they leave the church.
5. Kate Spade sparkle gold wedding pumps. need I say more?
6. A perfect rustic dessert table and darling cake made by the lovely Jenny Keller.
7. Reception held at the rockin Muse in Conway.
8. A mini concert…by none other than The Bride, Erika!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED!!! this wedding mad lib that Erika and Rob inserted into their programs! What a unique thing to have for people to do while waiting for the ceremony to begin….and the happy couple got lots of advice in the process!
I loved this diy use of burlap in her wedding! Why not cover a huge bulletin board with burlap to showcase your (amazing) engagement sessions! :)
Could this little white country church be any cuter? Awe! I loved it. It just felt good to be in it.
The oh so glorious Kate Spade sparkly gold shoes. I think she should where these at least every anniversary. They kinda remind me of a modern version of Dorothy’s shoes in the Wizard of Oz. I want some!
When I saw this balcony, I knew I wanted to hang the dress there. Taking dresses out of the bridal suite is always fun…and always kind of challenging….but I think the it was worth it, in the end.
What is better than getting married in a little white church like this one in Fir-Conway? so darling!!
Two great images that my second shooter (and fabulous husband) got. I loved both of these from the back of the church!
Another perfectly done dessert table by Jenny Keller of Jenny Cookies. I don’t know how she does it, but she knocks it out of the park every time. I am in love with the cake and the the golden sparkled cake pops! So darling!
What a special moment. Rob requested that his new bride sing a few songs…it was priceless.
