Drew and I headed to Hayden Lake Country Club in Hayden Lake, Idaho for Brooke and Tommy’s Destination Wedding. It was fantastic. The weather was beautiful, the setting was absolutely amazing and the couple (and families & friends) were just delightful! Plus I got some of my very favorite DIY wedding details ( painted clothes pins, bunting and Polaroid guestbook…you’ll have to come back to see those, though!).
Here are just a few shots from just after their first look….my favorite part of any wedding day!!
I heart DIY weddings…well mostly any kind of weddings, but DIY details are my favorite! I think its because they are such an intimate expression of a bride and groom….because they were made by them! If you are having a DIY wedding, I would love to be a part of it! Please visit my contact page and let me know all of your fun details!!
Someone during the toasts at Carly & Ellis’ Wedding commented that it was an incredibly honest wedding. It was. It didn’t have any pretense or pomp wrapped up in it. The bride (and her mom) didn’t even wear shoes for goodness sakes. It was just raw, real and such an honor to be a part of. We loved every second of this woodland washington wedding. Here’s just a few from yesterday at the Wallace Falls Lodge in Goldbar, Washington.
If you are having a DIY wedding with lots of fun details…I would love to be a part of it! Email me at email@example.com. I would love to hear all about your great details, how you met and fell in love. Its part of why I just love my job so much.
