Today I was working on Cherami & Scott’s amazing winery slash vintage DIY backyard wedding and I came across these that were just too gorgeous for me not to post today. I had to stop everything and just take the time out because I love them so much!

Does Winery/DIY Vintage Backyard wedding sounds a little confusing? Well…Its a long, wonderful story, and in their full blog post I will explain everything, don’t worry! But for now, I will just share a few great images that, in my husband’s great wisdom, he pushed me to take the bride and groom out to the vineyard across from Tagarus to take a few images. They were worth every second!

Drew and I had so much fun at Melanie & Jason’s Lake Chelan Destination wedding. I had a feeling that it was going to be amazing…since I met with Mel & Jason, then saw their friends in action at this fun wedding at Hidden Meadows…I had an inkling that this wedding was going to be pretty epic. And it delivered.

When I walked into the Grandview and saw Melanie’s lace and tulle dress hanging and saw all of the soft dusty pink bridesmaids dresses, my inkling was confirmed. Not only was it gorgeous, but all of the bridesmaids were super fun and game for anything!

I loved it when Nana took a shot on her iphone. :)

Tsillan Cellars was a gorgeous reception venue. We did the first look there, on a sweet bridge next to the floating dance floor (with incredible lights hanging!!!)

Next we headed to a row in the vineyard…it was incredible! I loved the light in this shot! 

I love it when the bride chooses to do all the same fabric of bride’s maids dresses in different styles…they are unique, but still have a nice flow.

I’m pretty sure this is a Don’t Stop Believin moment. So epic.

I’m such a sucker for love stories. I love to hear all the details…and Erika & Paul’s story is one of my favorite kind. The kind of love story where two people are “just friends” for years and years….and then finally one day…you look at each other and realize that you love hanging out with the other person and just can’t imagine life without them!  Sounds kinda like some kind of summer love movie plot…heck, I would go see that movie!! :)

I think I died when I saw Erika in the parking lot….is her dress not to die for?? Mod Cloth!! I love this dress….and this one! Anyway…then…she pulled her incredible beach cruiser + basket out of her truck and my heart skipped a beat! :) I want one of these soo stinkin bad! Crossing my fingers for mother’s day! :) Hint>>> Drew!

We had such a blast shooting their session…I am so thankful for clients that are willing to climb on railroad tracks and lay down in the grass!   Erika & Paul! I can’t wait for your wedding day!!

There is something about photographing people that just love life. It makes my job so easy…and Katrina & Spenser are 2 of these people! They enjoy living.  I loved so many details of this wedding…I was so surprised to hear that there were a ton of DIY details! For some reason, when I think of DIY, I don’t really think of Glamour and sparkles, but they totally showed me that it can be done!

I LOVE THIS CAKE!

Seriously…one of the best toasts I’ve heard in my 10 years of shooting weddings! The grooms brother had the whole room in stitches and in the palm of his hand…And the bride still hugged him after. Great story telling and a lot of love.

I love that this classic image below looks makes you wonder what era is was actually shot it! Such a timeless look to the style of this wedding!

Part of what I love about weddings is being able to see people doing what they love…I love that Spenser’s Grandma was getting in the mix on the dance floor! This lady was an inspiration! You can tell where the Sado brothers get their love of dancing!!

I loved that they had Bar food come out around 7:30…it was a fun surprise!

Well..the our most anticipated wedding of the summer is now behind us and it was absolutely amazing. Drew’s sister got married at the most amazing venue in Cle Elum, Ritter Farms. Drew was a groomsman did the ceremony, Estelle and Evan were in the wedding and I was a bridesmaid and just couldn’t leave my camera at home…especially since I knew all of the amazing details that she had planned. Turquoise piano in a field, books and vintage lace table cloths, tissue garland and crates stacked up for a cake table. Vintage cameras, Popcorn stations and donuts, the list goes on and on. I loved every little last detail and I would have loved it, even if I wasn’t related to her! She has great taste and brought all of her amazing ideas to life!

I can’t go any further with out saying a huge, huge thank you to one of my very best friends, and another fabulous photographer, Molly Vaden, of Molly Vaden Photography, who gave up her beautiful August weekend to come shoot this wedding with me. She is such an artist and I wish she only knew just how talented she is! I am so lucky to call her friend and it was a joy to shoot along side her (after 2 years!)….It was just like old times…for the 5 or 6 years that we shot together! I miss those days!! All of the images that don’t have my logo on them are shot by Molly Vaden Photography.

One of my favorite details of the wedding. I was a little scared that it would fall over any second…but it looked fabulous!

There is such a great story behind these rings. (we will see if I get it right!) Denae’ had admired her Great Grandma GG’s ring since she was a little girl.  Then one day Denae’ saw the ring on the right at a Antique Jewelry store and fell in love with it…not realizing that it looked really similar to the one she loved as a child. She got to wear both rings on her wedding day! So special!

Only my fashion forward sister in law would by a wedding gown online….but it was the perfect dress! 

Dan is an amazing photographer…I loved that the very first thing he did when he saw his bride was to snap a pic. He just couldn’t help himself…and I ‘m glad he did it! What a precious moment that he captured. 

This one actually made us cry! We cried alot that day…but this was just so sweet!

Denae’ has such a great sense  of style. Her brides maids gift was a special necklace to wear for the wedding. They matched personalities and dresses so well, I don’t know how she found the time to find all of them!
