50′s Vintage & Birdcage Veil | Modern Bellingham Wedding Photography
February 8, 2011I love work with people like me. Lets just say it…I like fun, high energy, witty people….Why? Because it makes my life way more fun! That is one reason why I love working with Brittany from BBJean Events so much! This girl is a visionary when it comes to all things wedding and design.
We chatted a while ago about doing a fun, vintage shoot with some quirky touches and that was about all the detail I could come up with….soon…(while I was having my fun birthday weekend) I started getting these amazing emails full of Brittany’s ideas….I got one at the Purple Cafe in Seattle, one walking around Pacific Place and a whole bunch more. Every email I got more and more excited about our upcoming shoot in Bellingham! Thanks so much to Katie & Josh for being our couple in love! So glad I got to meet you two!
I literally fell on the floor the moment I saw this amazing 50′s inspired wedding dress by Kathy Ireland (yes!! She has a wedding gown line!!!). I just wish my 10 year Anniversary was this year because I would have snapped that baby up so fast! My idea as to then have it dyed blue or pink for a lovely party or date night dress! mmmm! Maybe I should just pick one up just in case!!!
I loved the modern and sweet flowers that Brittany designed….no roses, just beautiful and delicious Sweet Peas, Ranocculous, Narcissus and some other lovely smelling beauties! Yes…she is a multi talented gal! (if you don’t have a wedding designer all ready…snap this girl up!!! She only takes a limited number of weddings a year, and she WILL create a wedding wonderland for you as well as set your mind at ease!
Are these amazing Home made Peanut Butter and Jelly favors not the cutest things you’ve ever seen??? What a fun DIY project you could do months before your wedding with your wedding party or family…have a peanut or almond butter and jelly canning day…..find some fabric that matches your wedding scheme and design a cute label for your day! So fun….and your guests will love your home made tasty treat!
Using the same fabric theme through out your wedding is a great way to create a custom look, with out a ton of cash! I loved this pink and grey fabric that Brittany found! Fun & still Modern!
