Last Friday we got to spend the day at the ever lovely Lord Hill Farms. What a wonderful place for a wedding!  I loved the white washed barns, the rustic beams and all the little twinkle lights in the reception area. One of my favorite parts about Lord Hill Farms is the variety in photo opp sites! So many places to choose from. The view, the barns, the pond, the dock and the fields….and then the stairs, the large windows and the doorways! If I had all day, I might be able to capture all of them!

And…on to Dave and Beth. What a quality, fun couple they are. They have so much in common: Both are High School Teachers in Snohomish County, Both are of Norwegian  decent (Dave = 100%, Beth= 25%), both love people (this was evident as they spent their time speaking to and hugging almost every person at their reception) and they both love to laugh.  It was a joy to see them both enjoying their day so much. I love shooting weddings for friends. There is something so special about shooting a wedding for someone I’ve known for a long time…its wonderful. I’ve known Jammie for…..lets just say a long time, and I always hope he would find a girl that could take his sense of humor and his intensity…plus the fact that he is a musician…all packed into one! He found her in Susan and I have to say that I am so excited about the fact that they get to spend the rest of their life together! What a power couple! Jammie leads worship at my childhood church where my dear friends are pastors, so if you are in the Marysville area, you should visit!

FlipBooks are one of my new favorite things to try with clients now! I just love them (so expect to see a few coming up!).

All though Jack Campbell is the President of International for Spot-Light Pictures in Hollywood, CA, to me, he’s my bro’s friend from childhood.  Together they teased me relentlessly about anything they could think of….me needing to shave my legs (as a 3rd grader!), zits, bad 80′s hair….the list goes on. Well…Jack turned out to be a pretty nice adult and when he and his darling fiance, Rebecca, asked me to shoot an Engagement Session for them while they were in town for a week….I decided to put the past behind me and go for it. Lucky for me, they were an amazing couple and were so fun to photograph!  I abosolutley can’t wait for their wedding next summer at Kiana Lodge! It should be pretty amazing! Here are a few shots from our session at Pike Place and Pier 62 in Seatte.
