Last February I met Sarah at the piece of property that would be her wedding venue, come August. It was a dreary classic Washington day, but as we talked about where her large tent would be, where the ceremony  I imagined the trees with green leaves and blue skies…..and when I arrived yesterday, it was all  imagined and more!  The wistria vine was gorgeous and I had to photograph the bride under it!  The elevator down the bluff was interesting…..after I got over the idea of going down the side of a very steep hill in a man-made contraption held up by a rather small cable, we landed at the bottom safe and sound…next to Puget Sound. There is nothing better than {bride+groom+sand+water}! Love it!  Stay tuned for more from this Destination Wedding (They all flew in from crazy places like Idado,Connecticut, Texas and North Carolina)! It was lovely!

I had so much fun at Teasha & Adam’s wedding. The Bride & Groom were so in love.  The wedding party was a blast…willing to do anything we asked. The venue, A Country Location, was amazing. The DJ kept the party bumpin and the people dancing. It was a true celebration! I loved every second of it!

When I met Jonathan &  Kelsey, there was a sweetness and security between them that is wonderful to see in any couple getting married. I could just tell that their wedding was going  amazing. And it didn’t disappoint! Their family was great and full of energy! They danced the night away! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!

I know I say it all the time. But I LOVE MY CHURCH!I just can’t help it. It is radical.  One of my ( many) favorite things about it is the fact that at my church…..men can be MEN! I love it. I love that my husband has a place where he can holler about the Seahawks and encourage Lesnar to hit Mir. So many churches that I’ve been to before try to make men something that they are not made to be: subdued, quiet and testosterone-less. But our church is, well, different.  My pastor, Brandon Beals, just loves UFC, (and football…and a bunch of other sports) and it spills over into our church. We’ve watched clips of 300 during church, the Simpsons, viewed our own version of Indiana Jones, which included a scene of Brandon sky diving.

Last weekend, our church hosted a UFC 100event….Yes…the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Yes, the one that puts 2 guys in a fenced in cage and lets them fight it out not unlike the gladiators of Roman times. I tagged along to document the night. Here’s a few of my faves. If only I could have captured the sounds…the oooo!’s and ah!’s…..this post would be complete.
