When I met with Ashley and she told me about their families love of Harley Davidson Motorcycles, I knew we had to figure out a way to incorporate them into their wedding day. Her amazing Wedding Gown, from my favorite Snohomish Bridal Boutique, From the Gown Up, her red wedding shoes and fabulous Bridal bouquet of red roses (by Laurels Floral Decor) really made it over the top gaspy for me! :) I couldn’t stop taking pictures of them!!! So fun! Here are just a few of the amazing images from Ashley and Josh’s super fun (and sunny!) Wedding Day at Echo Falls Golf Course in Snohomish, WA.

I had so much fun with this cute couple at one of my very favorite Snohomish Wedding Venues, Swan’s Trail Farm. They were gracious, in love and totally fun! Their friends and family were super cool and ready for anything! I loved all of the fun pear and raspberry details and colors! These handmade signs were the perfect preview for what was to come at this ourdoor, rustic wedding.
I absolutely love the thumb print tree in lieu of of a traditional guestbook. I think its fabulous to have a piece of art on your wall when your wedding day is over….and you can regularly pass by it and remember all of the loved ones that attended your wedding. I really loved this one because it had every shade of green to choose from! So fun.
Those were real pears! What a fantastic and yummy idea!
These cute little mason jars were the favors! The guests filled these up with candy from the candy bar! Such a cool idea!
I loved that the bride and groom’s moms contributed one of the items that we remember the most about our child hood…mom’s homemade cookies. Guests grabbed these upon entry on the way to their seats for the ceremony! So cute!
One of my favorite things about Swan’s Trail Farm is this amazing old turquoise car! I ‘ve been wanting to shoot this for a while and finally go the chance! So gorgeous!
Dahlias are my favorite flower in the whole world….and these bouquets were perfect!
There was definitely some sparks flying between these two! That makes me so happy.
I loved the little lights that were painstakingly put up by some family members…it was all worth it!!!
These guys knew how to get down!
At the end of the night…the bubbles made a perfect exit for these two…headed to the Tulalip Casino for an after party!

I love it when people that are like me hire me. I love hot pink….Kim’s wedding party’s shoes were all different kinds of hot pink. I love peonies. Her wedding party bouquets were peonies (and they smelled amazing!). I love all different kinds of dresses….you guessed it…the girls had all different kinds of black dresses…..somehow, even though the girls were all wearing different dresses, it all came together beautifully….ps…I love things that are not all matchy matchy. All my kitchen chairs are different, but painted white with different shades of turquoise on the seats (maybe a future blog post!). I also have been collecting different kinds of blue and white dishes…that don’t match each other….Some people just don’t get it…but its right up my ally.
Anyway…back to Sean and Kim’s wedding! I just loved this new wedding venue in Snohomish, WA called Swan’s Trail Chapel. It is so amazing! It had so many places to shoot…and it was just so fun! I loved the nostolgia and quaintness of this place…it was built in 1915! Wow!

I just loved the look of this wedding party! I loved the girls dresses….so cute, and they can actually wear them again (love that! Brides…that is such a nice gift to your bridesmaids…a cute dress they can wear again!). And then the guys…I love this new trend of the bowtie. Seriously…its such a classic look. Never goes out of style. These guys were so much fun. We were fortunate to have some really great weather…some sun and some overcast…but it didn’t rain a drop! Yay! Something about wedding in Washington make me so thankful every time we have a wedding without rain!

So I met Beth and Dave about a month after they had all ready hired me. To my delight and excitement, they were super fun people with tons of personality and quick wit! They are both teachers and anyone that can handle kids all day totally get my respect…it takes a certain kind of person to mold the minds of America’s youth. When I asked them where they wanted to shoot their engagement session, they said…Lombardi’s? It was sentimental to them…and that is something that I love! I am always up for a challenge, and I love sentimental locations (they got engaged right after having dinner there)…..So Lombardi’s it was! When I arrived, I realized that it wasn’t really going to be a challenge at all because all the elements for an ideal session location were there…..a patch of green grass, some flowering trees, a hedge, some benches, and an amazing marina. Easy!:) I actually might recommend this interesting location for other engagement sessions….you learn something new everyday.
One thing that I realized during their shoot (which I all ready had a hunch about) was that these two are going to be so much fun to photograph on their wedding day! Seriously….they are so fun, but still very thoughtful and genuine. I can’t wait for their wedding at Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish! It will be so much fun! I heard a rumor that there will be a groom’s cake covered in Norwegian flags…since Dave is 100% Norwegian. I can’t wait for that too….since my husband is half Norwegian. This is why I just love my job!
